How it works

How HPL finds your starting track
and sequences a curriculum around it.

You arrive with symptoms, history, a few lab numbers, and a goal. The path below is how those become a starting pattern, a starting track, and a sequence to work through — with educational support along the way. Educational, not medical.

Start with what you already know.

The intake is a structured questionnaire. It asks about energy, recovery, sleep, digestion, mood, and lab context — the way a functional wellness practitioner would walk through your story. You do it once. Everything downstream — pattern, track, curriculum, coach — depends on what you share here.

Six sections, in the order you'd actually open them.

01 § Intake Required
~12–15 min

Start with what you already know.

Symptoms, history, energy patterns, the lab numbers you have, what you're trying to understand. One structured questionnaire, written in plain language. The most important fifteen minutes in the program.

"Not a personality quiz — a structured intake that turns your description into a starting pattern we can work with."

02 § Pattern Instant
read-out

Read the shape, not the label.

The output of intake is a starting pattern: a plain-language read-out of what your answers seem to point at, what they tend to mean, and what they don't. It is a hypothesis to work with, not a diagnosis to receive.

"You read it and decide if it sounds like you. If it doesn't, that's also useful information."

Pick the path the pattern points at.

Four educational tracks. Each is a self-contained curriculum and coach behavior, calibrated to one pattern of fatigue we see often. If your pattern is mixed, you start on Mitochondrial & Cellular Energy — foundations first.

"You can re-route. The track is the path you're on, not the verdict on you."

Sequence

Short chapters, in the right order.

Each module is 10–20 minutes and structured the same way: what the mechanism is, what the research says, what to do this week. The order is the work. You're not handed a library — you're handed the next chapter.

"The research tells you what; the curriculum tells you why; the sequence tells you when."

05 § Coach Support
not advice

Questions, context, navigation.

HPL Coach is a support layer trained on your track. It answers questions, explains the reasoning behind a module, and helps you frame what to ask your provider. It does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. Educational, not medical.

"Most programs leave the hard parts to you. This one gives you somewhere to ask at 11pm — clearly inside its lane."

§ 05 · PreviewExcerpt
Member I'm on week two and the afternoon crash is worse, not better. Is this normal for the gut track?
HPL Coach It can be — the early window often dips before it lifts. Two questions: are you eating within a 10-hour window, and how's morning protein? If either is off, that's where I'd look first.Educational · Not Medical Advice
06 § Apply Loop
not finish

Apply, ask, ask out, refine.

You work through the curriculum. You bring questions to HPL Coach. You take provider-facing questions to your own provider. You refine — adjust sequence, re-read a chapter, re-run intake if the pattern shifts. That loop is the program.

"There's no graduation. There's a sequence you get better at running, and a pattern that gets clearer."

§ Scope

Educational coaching, in writing, on the record. Read it like a manual, not like a chart.

HPL Is
An educational coaching program for people navigating fatigue, brain fog, and "normal" labs.
A curriculum sequenced by your starting pattern and starting track.
A support layer — HPL Coach — for questions, context, and navigation.
A way to frame what to ask your own provider in plain, specific language.
A program that runs as a loop: apply, ask, refine.
HPL Is Not
Medical care. HPL does not diagnose.
A treatment plan. HPL does not treat or prescribe.
A clinical service. HPL does not provide medical advice.
A guarantee. There are no guaranteed results.
A substitute for your provider. It is a complement, on the educational side.
Questions

Things people ask before they start.

If something isn't covered here, the HPL Coach will answer it once you're inside.

No — that's the point of the intake. You answer the questionnaire honestly and the matching process identifies which starting pattern fits. You don't need to arrive with a diagnosis or even a hypothesis.

Most people who come to this program have already tried generic wellness interventions — and got minimal results. The difference here is that the curriculum is matched to your specific starting pattern, not generic advice. A gut-focused sequence for someone whose pattern points to adrenal stress is the wrong starting point. Pattern matching matters.

The curriculum modules are 10–20 minutes and designed to be worked through at your own pace. Implementation — the nutrition, sleep, and lifestyle context — is meant to layer into your existing routine, not sit on top of it. Most members actively engage with the program for about 30–60 minutes per week beyond the curriculum itself.

You can retake the intake questionnaire at any time. If your pattern has shifted significantly, the system will re-route you to the appropriate starting track. Symptoms evolve and the path should too — that's part of the Apply & Refine loop.

No. Human Performance Labs is an educational coaching program, not a healthcare service. It is not covered by insurance and we do not bill insurance companies. The subscription cost is the total cost — no hidden fees.
